Визит Генерального директора ЮНЕСКО г-жи Ирины Боковой
09.09.2011 Состоялся официальный визит генерального директора ЮНЕСКО Ирины Боковой в МГУ им. Ломоносова. В ходе визита состоялась торжественная инаугурация кафедры в присутствии высоких гостей, студентов и преподавателей Университета.
Открывая кафедру, Ректор Университета академик В.А.Садовничий и госпожа Ирина Бокова обменялись речами.
В своей речи госпожа Бокова высказала важные идеи по широкому кругу проблем, относящихся к развитию человеческого потенциала. Речь И.Боковой включена в материалы, обязательные для изучения на кафедре и факультете.
Госпожа Бокова в знак признания ее научных заслуг и достижений была удостоена звания Почетного профессора Московского государственного университета имени М.В.Ломоносова.
В заключение госпожа Бокова встретилась со студентами кафедры и факультета и ответила на их вопросы. Студенты предложили некоторые идеи в отношении того, как лучше взаимодействовать с ЮНЕСКО, используя кафедру, открытие которой в Университете стало важным вкладом в развитие программы ЮНИТВИН и осуществление ее задач. Они выразили искреннюю благодарность Генеральному директору за встречу и уникальную возможность открытого и свободного обсуждения с главой Организации интересующих их вопросов.
Госпожу Бокову сопровождали Постоянный представитель Российской Федерации при ЮНЕСКО посол Э.В.Митрофанова, директор Бюро ЮНЕСКО в Москве проф. Д.Бадарч, ответственный секретарь Комиссии Российской Федерации по делам ЮНЕСКО Г.Э.Орджоникидзе, председатель Координационного комитета кафедр ЮНЕСКО в Российской Федерации проф. В.К.Егоров.
В рамках визита госпожа Бокова обсудила вопросы дальнейшего сотрудничества с Ректором Университета академиком В.А.Садовничим и с видным российским ученым проф. С.П.Капицей.

Визит Генерального директора ЮНЕСКО в МГУ представляет собой важную веху на пути развития многогранного сотрудничества между ЮНЕСКО и Российской Федерацией. Он также начал новую страницу в истории кафедр ЮНЕСКО, поскольку в числе более 700 кафедр в примерно 130 странах мира открытая кафедра является на сегодняшний день единственной, которая посвящена глобальным социальным и этическим вызовам и специфическим проблемам больших городов.

The visit of the UNESCO Director General H. E. Mrs. Irina Bokova
09.09.2011 An official visit of Director General of UNESCO Irina Bokova at MSU took place.
During the visit the solemn inauguration of the Chair took place in the presence of high guests and University professors and students.
When inaugurating the Chair the Rector of the University Acad. Victor Sadovnichy and Mrs. Irina Bokova exchanged speeches.
In her speech Mrs. Bokova expressed important ideas on a wide range of problems related to the development of the human potential. The speech of Mrs. Bokova was included in the materials of the obligatory study at the Chair and at the Faculty.
Mrs. Bokova in recognition of her scientific contribution and achievements was granted the title of the Honorary Professor of the Lomonosov Moscow State University.
In conclusion Mrs. Bokova met with students of the Chair and of the Faculty and answered questions. The students presented some ideas on how better interact with UNESCO through the Chair praising its opening at the University as an important сontribution to the development of the UNITWIN Program and to the implementation of its goals. They expressed their sincere gratitude to the DG for the meeting and for the unique possibility for them to have an open and free discussion directly with the Head of the Organization on matters of their interest.
Mrs. Bokova was accompanied by the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation at UNESCO H.E. Ambassador E. Mitrofanova, the Director of the Moscow UNESCO Office Prof. D. Badarch, the Secretary General of the National Commission for UNESCO of the Russian Federation Mr. G. Ordzhonikidze, the President of the Coordinating Committee of the UNESCO Chairs in the Russian Federation Prof. V. Egorov.
In the framework of her visit Mrs. Bokova discussed the further cooperation with the Rector of the University Acad. Victor Sadovnichy and with the prominent Russian scientist Prof. S. Kapitsa.

The visit of the UNESCO DG to the University represents an important milestone for the development of the multifaceted cooperation between UNESCO and the Russian Federation. It opened, as well, a new page in the UNESCO Chairs history since the Chair inaugurated is for the time being the only one devoted to global social and ethical challenges and to specific large cities’ problems among more than 700 Chairs in about 130 countries the world over.
