1 января 2025 года Заведующий кафедрой ЮНЕСКО по изучению глобальных проблем факультета глобальных процессов МГУ имени М.В. Ломоносова Ю.Н. Саямов был награждён Медалью Ордена «За заслуги перед Отечеством» I  степени. Также Юрий Николаевич был награждён дипломом  «За большой личный вклад в сотрудничество Российской Федерации и Организации Объединённых Наций по вопросам образования, науки и культуры (ЮНЕСКО)».

On January 1, 2025, Yu.N. Sayamov,  the Head of the  UNESCO Chair on Global Problems and Emerging Social and Ethical Challenges for Large Cities and their Population of the Faculty of Global Processes of Lomonosov Moscow State University, was awarded with the Medal of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland (I degree). Yuri Nikolaevich was also awarded a diploma «For his great personal contribution to cooperation between the Russian Federation and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).«
